The Faculty of Management and Technology, Harish Chandra Post Graduate College, was established in the year 2002 as one of the premier educational institutions located in the heart of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The Faculty of Management and Technology has multiple of facilities provided with the latest and modern amenities for the betterment of the students' academic journey.  It is well-supported by a spacious reading room that accommodates up to 80 students. The infrastructure for information technology is also very impressive with a computer centre equipped with 75 computers and high-speed broadband internet access, which acts as a digital backbone for research activities and improvement of knowledge for the faculty and students.

The courses are pretty versatile in order to turn out different career aspirations of students. The 3 full-time degree programmes offered are MBA, BBA, and BCA. The MBA is a two-year, 45-seat postgraduate programme that allows students to take up leadership positions in business. BBA and BCA at the undergraduate level are 60-seats each, the former aimed at business administration and the latter at computer applications. All these courses have an orientation towards dovetailing requirements of contemporary job-markets.

The admission procedure at the Faculty of Management and Technology is aimed at selecting candidature with the most potential to pursue the courses. The admission to the MBA course is based on the marks secured in CAT- Common Admission Test, CMAT- Common Management Admission Test, or MAT- Management Aptitude Test, which are national-level entrance exams. Candidates shortlisted after the initial selection through these entrance exams go through Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The Management Quota are filled based on valid scores in CAT, CMAT, or MAT, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
