Future Institute of Technology, Kolkata was established in 2014 and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. FIT Kolkata provides a variety of Engineering courses to the interested students. Candidates should qualify in entrance exams like MAKAUT CET/JEE Main/WBJEE/WBJECA. The FIT admission process is done based on the marks secured in the entrance examinations. Candidates should go through the FIT eligibility criteria before appearing for the entrance examination. FIT fee varies for every course based on the course duration, accommodation, transport fee and many more. 

The FIT placement department offers very good career opportunities to the final-year students during the placement process. Over the years, many students have been placed in various IT and software courses.
