G Karunakaran Memorial Co-operative College of Management and Technology was started in 2010 situated at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This affiliated college is accorded by AICTE and the college provides management education in a beautiful 8 acre of land. As for now, the enrollment of the institute is 17 students and there are 5 faculty members. Since it is a mixed institution, boys and girls are granted equal opportunities in almost all fields. The object of the college is to provide quality education when it comes to MBA, the only degree it awards, which clearly shows that the college majors in management education.

The college has of many amenities which are aimed at improving on the learning process of the students. The library has rich collection of Indian and international managerial professional books and e-resources and journals that help the students to have better study materials. The institution also has modern facilities namely a computer lab of modern computers, and hardware and soft wares in the institute and internet 12 hours a 2Mbps. 

To meet the convenience of students, the college offers separate hostels for boys and girls for out of town students. G Karunakaran Memorial Co-operative College of Management and Technology has also started a full time MBA program for the approved intake of 60 students. This is a twoyear course which aims at equiping students with knowledge and skills on management principles and practices. The given focus of the college is on a single program, with emphasis on the effective education of managers, guarantees students the necessary intense preparation and arms with profound knowledge and practical skills suited to the conditions of today’s businesses.

The criteria of selection for the MBA class in G Karunakaran Memorial Co-operative College of Management and Technology includes the following details. The first variable is the K-MAT C-MAT or CAT entrance test score level earned at the national level and this has an 80% weighting.
