Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital located in Udaipur was established in 2008 and is an institution that imparts medical education. GMCH Udaipur is a constituent college of Geetanjali University, Udaipur and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India. Geetanjali Medical College offers a wide range of courses at different levels, including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
The diploma courses cover 7 disciplines Radiation Technology, Dialysis Technician, Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology and others. Undergraduate courses include MBBS, BHA, and B.Sc, allowing students to pursue their interests in medicine. Postgraduate courses like MD, MS, M.Sc, and MHA offer opportunities for specialization and academic growth.
The doctoral programs consist of one Ph.D programme and two DM programmes, enabling advanced research in medicine. Geetanjali Medical College course admissions are merit/entrance-based. To be admitted to the diploma programme at Geetanjali Medical College, candidates must apply through the Rajasthan Para-Medical Council portal.
For the MBBS programme, candidates must clear NEET UG. Admission to B.Sc and BHA programmes is based on merit. For MD/MS programs, candidates must clear NEET PG. Admission to M.Sc and MHA courses is also based on merit. Ph.D candidates must take the entrance test conducted by Geetanjali University.
The Geetanjali Medical College campus covers an area of 35 acres providing various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the institute including a canteen, labs, lecture theatres, central library, sports, classrooms, auditorium, hostels, cafeteria, gym, health centre and more. The Geetanjali Hospital is also well-equipped with advanced treatment facilities and equipment and covers various departments.

College Infrastructure
The college’s infrastructure is great, there are all the necessary facilities and resources available. Living spaces and food quality of the mess is well maintained and is up to the mark. Overall the college system is very well managed and maintained.
My experience was average but i will miss college after grad

Our college classroom is quite big and with projector and classrooms have capacity of 250 students with air conditioned room We have seperate laboratory in every department and all laboratory have seperate microscopes and a separate dissection hall . Laboratories have capacity of 40 students at a time. Library is also air conditioned with all necessary books which are updated time to time. In hostel there is wifi for 24×7 and its very hygienic food is average and less hygienic.

In 2019, Government of India had brought a new Category called as Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The Economically Weaker Sections certificate give benefits to its holder by reducing the amount of fees to 50% in any Government Medical Colleges . This EWS Certificate is not at all valid

A diploma in Radiology is a 2 years medical course that focuses on imaging technology to treat and diagnose various diseases in patients. While some Radiology courses focus on the diagnosis other courses focus on the treatment.
