My experience was average but i will miss college after grad

    College Infrastructure

Our college classroom is quite big and with projector and classrooms have capacity of 250 students with air conditioned room We have seperate laboratory in every department and all laboratory have seperate microscopes and a separate dissection hall . Laboratories have capacity of 40 students at a time. Library is also air conditioned with all necessary books which are updated time to time. In hostel there is wifi for 24×7 and its very hygienic food is average and less hygienic.

    Academics

I am studying MBBS because i really like that field and our college has good faculty and doctors who try to teach most recent things and complete syllabus on time and we are getting many assignments daily related to recent changes but our main focus is on clinics study which is more important

    Placements

We use to give neet pg exams after graduation for further studies there is no placements from our college. In internship we get almost 3-4k per month and the highest paid salary in post graduation is radiology department.

    Value for Money

I pay 16-18 lakhs/ year and i dont think its worth it because inspite of getting good education we are not getting good clinical exposure because of less patients and hostel rooms are Average with less facilities and mess food is not that good

    Campus Life

Our campus is not too big and also there is construction happening always. Students can engage in some sports and evening walk but other than that there is nothing much to do. Teachers are less supporting but main support is by seniors after good interaction. Location is safe in the campus but out of campus it's not safe as our college is located on a highway so there is traffic always and prone region for accidents. There is proper management for handling any kind of emergency.

    Others

All over college is good just management need to look for food and money and expanding space of campus

Have a question related to GMCH Udaipur ?

General EWS category and neet score is around 500 what will be the fee for MBBS

    Hello Kanchan,

In 2019, Government of India had brought a new Category called as Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The Economically Weaker Sections certificate give benefits to its holder by reducing the amount of fees to 50% in any Government Medical Colleges . This EWS Certificate is not at all valid in Private Medical Colleges.

Also, fees depends on the college you get. All colleges fees are different from one another be it in same state also. But just giving you an idea or hint of fees for an EWS candidate in Government Medical College, it's approx 25K to 50K . Some colleges even have less than 25K also. It will be better if you ask me for a particular state or college.

Hope this helps. All the Best.

    Thank You.

Is there any diploma or degree courses available for radiology?

    Hello,

A diploma in Radiology is a 2 years medical course that focuses on imaging technology to treat and diagnose various diseases in patients. While some Radiology courses focus on the diagnosis other courses focus on the treatment.

You can pursue diploma courses, bachelor's course, master's course and certification courses in the field of radiology. You can apply for UG courses after completing 12th.

    Thank you.
