General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College, Patiala, came into existence in 1960 and is one of the premier self-financed institution situated in the state of Punjab India. Located on a large area of 75 acres, the college extends a number of 48 programmes for 15 degree courses. IThere is an iproved student-teacher ratio of 34:01 as the college has 6,260 students enroled with 186 faculty members across the college. The institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and boasts a co-educational environment with a male-to-female student ratio of 2:1. As a college, it focuses on academic quality that is shown by a range of course provisions for the students in various fields of study.
General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College has assembled a wide of modern equipments and technologies to improve the learning process of their students. The library which is one of the key facilities of the academic related resources is air-conditioned and computerised to its fullest extent with books, journals, periodicals, etc. Web OPAC also allows students to use information touch-screen computer with Web OPAC system. The campus has equipped practical learning laboratories, modern auditorium for events and seminars, and a large cafeteria surrounded with natural beauty. the infrastructure of our college is good and even better then most of the colleges. the best building is of department of commerce and management . there are several parks and palaces where you can sit with your friends . water, light and fans etc are fully working. canteen is decent.

General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College in Patiala has all the necessary facilities and equipment. Classrooms have desks and boards, labs are well-equipped, and the library has books and digital resources. Sports areas are available for outdoor activities. Hostels have WiFi. Living spaces are kept clean, and food is prepared hygienically.

The college have good infrastructure and also have a good classrooms with projectors and even rooms are also good and clean . the canteen food is not so good but the campus is very clean and beatiful .
