24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate who has passed in BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate BSc Nursing of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, or any other University accepted as equivalent by BFUHS, and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. In respect of candidates belonging to SC and ST, the aggregate marks obtained shall not be less than 50% instead of 55% as above.
- Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining a B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or a minimum of one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing, in a hospital or in a Nursing Educational Institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Registered in any State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
- Candidates should produce an Eligibility Certificate from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (This applies only to the candidates who have passed from other universities).
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
