Gitanjali Teacher's Training College, Berhampore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library started functioning on the ground floor in 2012. At that time only the D.El.Ed. the course was running in our institution. In successive years our Library become more enriched with different types of texts as well as reference Books. In 2016, our institution became a composite institution as B.Ed. the course was introduced, resulting in the collection of a huge number of books. Then due to insufficient space, our Library has a rich collection with more than 6733 books along with 18 Journals. The college provides a scientifically arranged Library with a specious and noise-free reading room for students & teachers. 

The College has a well-equipped lab with 21 computers. The media computer lab is equipped with the latest software. The demonstration of Lab Classes of B.Ed. presented by using a Projector. ICT Lab is one of the major focal labs of the institute. ICT, Computer Lab, and ET facilities have been integrated into the institute where learners are not only encouraged to acquire basic ICT skills but also motivated to use the same extensively during the D.El.Ed. &B.Ed. program. 

The College has indoor and outdoor games equipment such as Carom, Wooden Dumbbell, Badminton, Chess, Cricket Kit, Volley Ball, and Football. 

The College has a lab enriched with resources related to Physics, Chemistry, and Biology apparatuses and glass wares along with students’ developed teaching learning material, Charts Models, etc. 

The College has well well-equipped multipurpose hall enriched with modern devices like LCD Projectors, public address systems, and other audio-visual systems, covering an area of 2000 sq. ft. It has a seating capacity of 250 students. College events and Student activities are hosted in the hall. This is used for the following purposes: 

The College has The GTTC using Wi-Fi Campus with 20 Mbps unlimited bandwidth. 

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College has  A canteen with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food also available on the college campus.

The college has Each section of students has separate classrooms and facilities as per the norms of the NCTE. Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated.

The College a well-equipped modern gymnasium with an adequate number of instructors.

The College has provided Training and Placement cells to the students.

The college has conducted workshops for the students.
