The infrastructure of our college is comparatively better than that of other Gujarat Universities colleges. The college provides facilities like auditorium, huge parking area and a small canteen. It provides free Wi-Fi facility for students, but the connection bad, so there is no use of it. The building is of 3 floors, and only the topmost floor has an air-conditioned facility. They had gym but now closed.
I didn't want to go for basic BBA so I went for B.com. Faculty members in our college are helpful. They have thorough knowledge about their subjects, though the timetable and schedules keep on fluctuating due to numerous events and competitions organised at our college. The course curriculum is not much of concern for criteria bases because the maximum number of students are used to self study their whole course before exams.
Few students are looking for placements after doing only B.Com course, as the packages offered are not that convincing and I heard my faculty members talking about the connection of our college with renowned banks like ICICI and HDFC Bank. Previous year student haven't put much concern to the placements happening in college during their time.
Fees were really less for one semester it was just 20000 Rs
There are many events, like the Garba function, which is organised by GLS University every year. We celebrate the traditional festival and many more. There are many extracurricular activities like sports, fashion shows, etc. Mostly the campus crowd were Gujarathi only.
If your soul purpose is to get graduation degree then go for it.
The College Infrastructure is well constructed with Centrally Air Conditioned Rooms which constitute a good educational environment for students . The Campus includes a Simplified 5G Wifi Network for extravagant internet connectivity.
The Curriculum taking into consideration the course is excellent as it also indulges various co-currricular activities besides studies which is fairly important. This is one of the Course which doesnt include a Specialisation in a specific field but the academic structure is so well balanced that it lays a perfect foundation for your career.
Personally, I have not been so close to the placement cell but various companies like Vodafone, Thomas Cook, etc come for Campus Recruitment for jobs and internships. B. Com graduate hardly take up jobs after graduation but internships are definitely taken into consideration here.
The semester fees is around 13k with no additional fees which is fairly enough to get graduated from a private university. Definitely Value for money as compared to other similar compared universities.
The location of the College is exactly at the center of the city so any student even living in the outskirts can reach efficiently. The Faculty here is super friendly with the students as they get involved quickly.
After Three Successful Years of Academics, I feel that GLS is a complete package for Commerce Graduation. You could end up being in a college with more fees or less educational standards. Its your opinion, choose wisely for your future, choose GLS.
