GGDSD Chandigarh Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

We have okayish infrastructure in the college. Classes in bcom block has smart boards and projectors where as their is no such facility in the ba block is given. Classes are spacious and corridor too. Canteen area is smaller according to the need.

For the academics ggdsd is consider to be very good. The faculty of the college is really nice and helpful.they always help the students in the every aspect of the life. The way of teaching is bit older but it compensate with everything.

Placement of the ggdsd college is not very good. They have good placements of bcom but no provisions are made for ba students. The average package falls somewhere between 5-7 lakhs per annum. Which is not very high.

This college have a good value of money.

It is overall nice.

The college has excellent infrastructure. Proper laboratory facilities and sitting areas . The classrooms are spacious and library is well equipped, books are readily available . The college has good canteen area and water facilities as well.

The teachers are well trained and . The punjab university curriculum is vastly designed and develops good skills in students. The staff is experienced and well guided. The curriculum is easy and at par with requirements.

Placements are only available for BBA and B.com but not for BA Courses the placements are not available and students find it difficult to find jobs but available add on courses do provide an edge to the students.

The overall college is good and provides great exposer to students and prepares them for future.

Amazing and homely environment.

Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment and our college classrooms are well furnished and there are also many facilities which are provided by our college and yes the living spaces are also clean.

I am doing M.COM entrepreneurs and family business in this college and yes the quality of teaching is good as the staff is very supportive and friendly. And this study also makes me ready for this job..

The placements of the college is not that good. There are hardly 2-3 which are placed with not a very good package..Our college has s not that much good for the placements and our college is not supportive in this very much..

Yes there are all necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments there is huge liabrary with enough books and well maintained classes with proper space and clean and all are well maintained but our college doesn't have wifi.

I am studying in b.com and all teachers are well qualified . Yes i think our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in our field . Yes i think our study makes our job ready as we also have our practicals.

There is good quality of placement in our college and maximum number of students are placed annualy and a good amount of package is offered to the students and number of companies are offering the palacement in our college

With this minimum cost i feel geeting money's worth

As per the infrastructure its very good and has the building of UFV that is a university which has a branch in our college its a university of abroad and having much things that come ahead in the college. It has a good labs biotech biology everything is there in the college.

As per the academics there are so many opportunities came in our way its our decision to go with it or not and mainly develop the leadership qualities in a student as the election held here. As per the study teachers are very cooperative and highly well studied.

As per the placements in this thing the college does not provide much not many companies came here to select the students and it is mainly based on the student if he is capable or not and make the things better in the interview and internship

Yups we can say that its a value for money and in the courses it has a different fee structure of every course

As per the life i suggest you to live once the life and understand and meet new people for the better things and want to learn something then go for it

yes, my college have all the necessary equipments, facilities like parking area, girls common room etc. The facilities which are provided by our college is well maintained likr there is wifi in the girls hostel. There are also indoor and outdoor games like ludo, badminton etc. and i live in girls hostel which is very clean and have a hygienic food.

I am pursuing MA ECONOMICS from GGDSD college because i have interest in knowing about the economy. The staff of ma economics is top class. The quality of teaching is very good and understable. I guess my curriculum is updated.

Homestly, I didn’t like the quality if placements at my college because my college is very famous for the commerce section instead of arts so there main focus is on the commerce students. the company which comes in our college is mainly for the commerce section students only by which we do not get much benefits of it.

My course cost per is around ₹26000 and i live in hostel and its yearly fees is around ₹80000. So basically my course per year cost is ₹106000. i am not fully satistified with my money’s worth.

The best feature of our college campus is library and the worst feature of our college campus is canteen.?

No. Nothing.

As there in the college infrastructure is nice but having not proper drainage system and during monsoon or mainly in July month it is very difficult to sit in the Canteen that is the negative point And According to me no one is perfect there is always a scope of improvement it has huge auditorium ,parks,mini audi,canteen,tuck shop,hostel,admin block and many more buildings it is grade A by NAAC and ramp for disabled also and has its own parking lot.

As per the academic term the study is very good and teachers are very Cooperative with each other. From college they mainly maintain seminars and counselling for the confidence and encourage in some fests to make the students more bolder.

As the college must have not much placements in BA as per my thinking mainly there were the placements in the Information technology centre. And other degrees and courses there are mainly not much opportunity in other degrees. Now recently the ICICI Bank jobs were offered to the students and we're selected according to their work, confidence,boldness and mainly quick response and mainly team work. As per the salary it mainly starts from 25000/month approximately.

As per the courses there are different fee according to their courses and make the things better for us as per the things going to change in the life after that. My money got worth as the BA fee is Rs 24000 annually and it's worth for money

As per the campus life I mainly recommend this college for the good courses and degrees and also please live in a hostel Life once it's a very great opportunity for the students how to live and work so that's all

College's infrastructure is good,the auditorium is huge but they don't provide wheelchair for disabled people.They have very good equipment in there labs but not in geography lab.The classrooms are very hygienic.

I'm currently pursuing in bachelor of arts and the faculty of our department is very professional and they also teaches us very politely.They also teach us about current affairs. The college faculty is very friendly with all students.

I know that our college bring companies to our college but I'm in 2nd year so i don't know much about it. The senior's of our college tell us that the placement is average in college and companies are limited.

The fees for bachelor of arts is 25000 and there is also examination fees of 5000 for 2 semesters.

The students of the college are very friendly and social.

The infrastructure is really good.College have all the required equipments such as furnished classes , laboratory with necessary equipments , maintained sport centres with branded sport kits and hostels.

I am studying BA Sociology Hons. because i am interested in knowing about various aspects of society such as various norms of different classes , caste system , marriage and traditions. The quality of teaching is great.

Placement regarding BA field is really not worth it. There are various reputed companies connected to college but they are beneficial for BCOM and BBA candidates. BA students are not really satisfied with the placements.

I guess this college has no much return On investment

Good n cooperative people

All facilities are given and their management level is also good but there is requirement give special attention on the equipments present in washrooms specially girls one.Regular check with regard to electrical panels and equipments in each classes.

Currently studying biotechnology Honor's and the teacher faculty is also great .They are very well in their study grounds.the experience provided here is good for future and also there liberty for us to conduct our own research

Currently there is no placement cell for our stream. They don't give any placement exposure for us . Companies come here for placement but for other streams not for us, but even for other courses that i have heard.
