The college has good infrastructure with clean classrooms.We do not smart boards or wifi as such in the classrooms( never felt the need although )but I believe wifi facilities with laptop charging point etc are available in the library. The classrooms are airy and clean. There are two libraries for different purposes. We have a reading room and a computer lab as well..In fact there are many computer labs.

I studies B.Com eco honors at the college. The quality of teaching is decent.The teachers range from average to very good. The curriculum honestly can be updated.In fact it's the curriculum of the university that needs to be updated upto the recent developments.

The placement process was good.Our's was the first batch that got placed in one of the big 4 accounting firms( Deloitte) including myself.It was the first time the company came on our campus. So kudos to the placement team.Other companies like De shaw and EY also came to our campus for the B.Com batch only.

The course fee was around 30k per year. Yes,I feel I got my money worth because I wasn't not only involved in academics but also extra curricular like the famous Youth fest Punjab University in which we even got first position in the inter zonal which is a big deal. It was definitely possible because of the great faculty they hired for our music and others performances

The campus life is good in the city beautiful with supportive teachers and staff.One can get involved in Youth festivals,ENACTUS SD,be a part of the fashion and modeling club apart from academic. There are various academic lectures all year long as well.Like I remember attending a workshop conducted by SEBI.

The college has clean and tidy classrooms. All the laboratories are air conditioned. Only a few classes have air conditioning. The girls hostels have rigid timings that do not necessarily suot a student's life so i did not stay in one.

Some teachers in the BA put exceptional efforts to make things work for students and some could not care less. The teachers have knowledge of what they're teaching but most learning in theory based. Atleast it was for my subjects, even though one of them was a practical subject.

The college did not provide with placement opportunities for the students of BA and no guidance for future reference either. Only a couple of teachers help out, out of goodness of their hearts. Masters becomes a mandatory requirement to score a job after BA .

The course costed approximately 25,000 per sem, as for the tuition fee. The over head charges add up to make it a round figure of 30-32k per semester. And some of these charges can be seen as unnecessary or more than required or provided for.

The campis has a bustling canteen that mostly everyone hangs out at. The canteen is an open area with 2 café and seating area. A large ground with a mango tree in the middle of it. This groud is a place for soaking sun in the winters for all the students.

College has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities, the new building is very nice. Huge sports ground is there, used for multiple purposes. Wifi facilities are there, but don't work, so you will need your own internet connections.

Very famous faculties teach here, quality of the content is just fine, curriculum is updated timely and adequate help is provided to us by all the faculties. Library is just fine, but it's nice for peaceful reading.

Below average, the package offered is very low. Different branches will sit with you in final placements, so the competition is very high, but you need to be on your toes to get good placement packages.

The fee is low, so it's value for money.

The College has a proper Infrastructure that adds up to the whole college experience. It is well-maintained too. There is a proper fully A/C auditorium. The different departments are having their own buildings as well.

The College gets recognized with its Teaching facility and no doubt SD College has a good staff who is willing to help at every point. The staff is well maintained and trained as per the updated curriculum.

The placement quality is also good. There are a number of companies who do come for the placement part. The placement cell is growing as compared to the earlier years. There were a lot of people who did get their placements in place.

The College life is good there, besides the college facility the plus point is the access to the city.

We have well ventilated classrooms with a comfortable seating facility with projectors and white boards that makes interacting and experiencing wholesome. There is constant maintenance of floor and hygiene is taken care of. We also have library for which there is proper system through which we can issue with our library cards in the digitally equipped space. We also have WiFi facitliy which needs more upgrade due to area network

Knowledge base plus the interaction is really good. They are like our mentors and moreover they guide us and equip us to take well informed decisions. The curriculum comes under panjab University which upgrades every year if there is advancement.

At my time we had L&T, ICICI Bank, and other private organisations coming for recruitment. And at this time delloite and EY have also actively recruited for analyst roles which provides them fair set of opportunities to get work experience

It's around 60k per semester and good value for money with clubs and various festive activities. It's a happening environment with good opportunities

Campus life is the most enriching experience because of Nescafe and canteen where we get to interact and witness clubs like Pristine which is a modelling club, dancing club, sarv saksham for acting engaging and making the environment graceful

I personally enjoyed my college life and can proudly say that it was not only theoritical knowledge but the confidence that I gained through good peer groups and diversity in culture which makes this place an ideal place to be in. Proximity to markets make it feasible for hostel students to live an easy life.

I was a student of Ba in sd College. The infra is good and the area of college is also decent giving the condition that it's in the centre of City. There is wifi available on laptop. The Library is good and there is also a digital library area where one can surf on the internet or fill there form. Over all it better then most of the college's in Chandigarh. Thank you ??

I was a student of Ba and had main subjects as psy, political and Functional English. The teachers are good they come to classes teach well clear our doubts. Many also provide proper notes. I specially use to enjoy the political discussion in our politics class. Thank you ??❣️

I am not so sure about the placement part cause after just BA not sure there are any placements provided. Also the fact that I never was interested in getting a placement or job cause I want to set up my own business and learn from practical life experiences of others. Now that is something which no college can provide. Be a self taught and self learner. Thank you ??

I'll say don't keep you hopes much high for the campus life but the crowd of sd college was good and had pretty decent individuals around me... It was fun knowing many of them. But not everything lasts that natural and change is the only thing constant.. Thank you ?☺️

Overall I'll say it was a good experience. College life is more fun and exciting if you grab different opportunities and take part in different activities. Socialize with the right crowd and hang out with right individuals. And be kind and grateful to each other... Thankyou thankyou thankyou ?☺️?❣️

The College has all the necessary infrastructure. It is well equipped with labs such as psychology lab, Journalism lab, AV Rom, other than the traditional labs such the science, chemistry, biology , mathematics lab etc. The college also offers proper water and food facilities. it offers clean and safe drinking water. One thing that I personally like the most about the college is that it has two sanitary pads vending machines.

The college offers a wide variety of courses. One of the main reasons why I chose this college is because it offered Journalism as an elective subject, which I could not find in any other colleges. Other than that , the college also offers certificate, diploma and advance diploma courses which the student can easily continue along with their regular course. It really is worth the money you are going to spend.

I personally feel that the placement cell could have been a little more efficient for the students on a one on one basis. but since, I only came across the placement cell during the corona times, I think that may have affected my experience with them .

I think the quality of life and experiences that the college offers you, is totally worth the annual fee that you are going to pay.

GGDSD College offers one the best on campus experiences. You will definitely fall in love with the vibe on campus. The election month is the one where you will find friends for a life time.

college Infrastructure is outstanding, digital, wifi access and AC libraries, AC reading rooms, smart classroom, smart and digital seminar hall, AC auditorium, well maintained laboratories with digital facilities, proper hostel facilities with huge convenience parking available for students, huge sports grounds, well maintained and neat and clean hygienic canteens. College has a very good environment.

Academics and quality of teaching is excellent. Teachers are very highly experienced and very helpful. faculty is always ready to help and guide students in every aspects whenever needed. College has a wide range of quality hons subjects. Recently the College added the MBA course with wide range of sectors.

Placements are quite normal. Mostly students from BBA and B.com courses got the placements. Many banks and companies visit the campus for placements and 90% students got placed every year. The college is very supportive and helpful to guide each student about placements and other curriculum activities as well.

yes, the value for money is worth. The total fees structure of BA is RS 24000 p.a. It is a three year course with variety of subjects available for students. The students can choose subjects according to their interests, and can do a Hons in a particular subject.

Campus life and environment is outstanding. There are students clubs managed by students body, many sports activities are held, Fests and trips are also organised by the students bodies. Teachers and students are very helpful. New comers students are guided by the students parties about the college and the curriculum. The college is located in sector 32 c, Chandigarh. The college has all the facilities and equipment to handle any situation in emergencies.

The campus life and the Infrastructure of the college is outstanding.

The college has well built classroom, a good and hygiene friendly canteen along with nescafe, well equiped computer and science labs , reading room , library , two auditoriums and an open ground area.

GGDSD has been ranked best among the top colleges of Chandigarh for Commerce and Management. Most of the teachers are highly qualified , experienced and friendly which serves as aid in the journey of learning.

Placement opportunities are ample for both graduating and graduated students from top companies like Ernst and Young , Amazon etc. The college placement cell disburses through it's email facility enough opportunity for students.

The fee structure is pretty reasonable for the facilities offered and almost at par with what most of the government colleges are charging for a commerce and management programme. The fee admissions for a graduate degree is less than one lakh.

With numerous fests and cultural activities happening throughout the year , the campus life is one of a lifetime opportunity for anyone who seeks admission here along with the networking opportunity for students.

Infrastructure at college was good. There was a beautiful academic block here, a special common room for girls. College had wifi connections, big library, a digital library with wide collection of different books. All classes were also equipped with smart boards technology. All and over we had all facilities which were required by us.

Teachers and professors here are strict when it comes to studies, as college keeps their cutoffs high, a major chunk of students are those who actively participates in academics which generates a sense of competition among all of us. Curriculum was regularly updated like GST came as soon as it was introduced.

Whole college staff and teachers here are supportive and they do their best to get the best results out there. Average salary offered in our tenure was of around 3.5LPA and highest crossed 6LPA. Placement process was easy and many MNCs come here but more companies can come so that everyone of us gets placed.

Course costed around 70000 per annum. Other private schools cost more than 3.5-4 lakhs rupees per annum, and the college provides us more than anything what other institution provides. College has always raised standards for itself and had been the best college around.
