Government College Baran offers 10 full-time courses in several streams of arts, humanities, social sciences, science, and commerce. These courses are provided across the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. GC Baran courses are distributed among BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA and M.Sc degrees.
There are four 3-year courses offered at the undergraduate level which are BA, B.Com, B.Sc Bio Group and B.Sc Maths Group. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc programme in GC Baran
require completion of higher secondary examinations with science stream. The college provides six 2-year courses at the postgraduate level that includes MA Economics, MA Geography, M.Sc Mathematics Self-Finance, M.Sc Chemistry, MA Political Science and MA Hindi Self-Finance.
