Boys Hostel
The College Boys hostel is one of the best hostels in H.P. as the best facilities are provided in it. The First and most important facility is the reading room with a capacity for 50 students at a time in which students can study at any time. In addition to this, an Internet facility with 2 computers is provided so that students can update their knowledge. In addition to this T.V. with the dish is provided for entertainment & news etc. For keeping the hostel clean 2 sweepers are appointed Hygienic food is provided for students. An effective R.O. system for the purification of water is also provided so that students get pure water to drink.
Library
The College has a Library facility. There are over 32,000 books in the College Library, about all the disciplines taught in the College. Out of this number, 26,000 books are stacked in the General Section and 6,000 are in the Book Bank. The college also has a regular subscription to 28 newspapers (Hindi and English), 35 magazines and journals, and 3 Computer and Electronics periodicals for the benefit of students and teachers.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

Infrastructure is good , buliding are okey okey but the library is full of nice books , washrooms can get better College infrastructure plays a major role in shaping a student’s overall learning experience. Most well-developed colleges today focus not only on academics but also on providing modern facilities that support comfort, accessibility, and holistic development. A good college infrastructure usually includes spacious and well-ventilated classrooms equipped with smart boards, projectors, and proper seating arrangements. Libraries are another key highlight, offering a wide range of textbooks, reference materials, and digital resources that help students in both academic and competitive exam preparation. Laboratories, especially for science and computer-related courses, are essential for practical learning and hands-on experience. Many reputed colleges also provide Wi-Fi-enabled campuses, clean cafeterias, and dedicated study areas that encourage group discussions and self-study. Sports facilities such as grounds, courts, and gyms are important for physical development and stress relief. Hostel facilities, if available, should be safe, hygienic, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay for outstation students. However, not all colleges maintain the same standard. Some still struggle with overcrowded classrooms, outdated equipment, and poor maintenance. This can negatively affect the learning environment. College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is best of my knowledge and is considered to be one of the best college in Shimla by Government. With top classrooms hygienic clean campus with canteen and hostel facility available.

As there is not any entrance exam mentioned officially to take admission in government degree college, sanjauli so the admission in this college for BA program will be through your 10+2 score , and entry will be directly according to your percentage.
