About Government Engineering College, Ajmer
Government Engineering College, Ajmer was established in 1997. The college was inaugurated by Former Technical Education Kalicharan Saraf. The college lies over an area of 300 acres providing various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the institute including transportation, sports, hostels, laboratories, library, computer lab etc. GECA is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota and Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner. Also, Government Engineering College, Ajmer has formed many student clubs to provide a platform to them to showcase and develop their skills and talents.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell- Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been developed to polish the entrepreneurial skills of students. Technical Club- The Technical Club of Government Engineering College, Ajmer aims to provide a platform to students for developing their technical skills by engaging themselves in various activities and events.
Institution’s Innovation Council- The Institution’s Innovation Council of Government Engineering College, Ajmer has been formed to nurture the innovative and creative skills of students. Students are encouraged to join this club to develop interests in innovating new things.

Sorry to say dear but government engineering college doesn't conduct any entrance examination by their own. You have to give JEE Mains or JEE Advance examination for admission in government engineering college. Otherwise you can give state government entrance examination which result will allow to admission in government engineering colleges. The examinations are WBJEE for West Bengal, MHTCET for Maharashtra, tseamcet for Telengana etc.
