Semester-I under the CBCS shall take up any subject unless he/she has taken up the same subject in Higher Secondary Part-II of the 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination, provided that a candidate having passed Higher Secondary Part-II examination with any of the Biology-based subjects will be eligible to take up Botany, Zoology, and Biotechnology.
