The college has a library facility for all students. There are 20124 Textbooks, 98 reference books,135908 e-books, 08 CD & Video and magazines, journals in the library. At the time of admission, students have issued library cards which will be valid until their final semester or examination. Internet facility is provided in the library and students can access the facility for availing e-resources and other web-based information. Photostat facility is also available in the library.
The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students. There are six labs in the college. The Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry, Department of Botany, Department of Zoology, Department of Geography and Department of Computer Administration of the college are having their own laboratories and the respective department is responsible for maintaining the laboratories. In these departments, a regular lab technician and lab attendants are appointed for the maintenance of laboratories.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The College information and communication technology committee (ICTC) is responsible for the maintenance of computers and the smooth functioning of the network facilities in the College. They also look into the College website, up-gradation, procurement of hardware and software and other items related to computers.
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
The college has sports facilities for all students.
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
The college has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
At my time the building was average, classrooms were spacious.It was a 2 floor college and playground was very big.It was a bit old though. Library was spacious and had a long common seating. We also had a function hall with stage.
Despite being the oldest college in the area the infrastructure is preety good, however the new buildings constructed boosts the facilities like more suitable classrooms, labs etc. the college do have a library.
