Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, was set up in 1875 located strategically in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the southern Indian state of Kerala. The college itself is located on a small area of 4.25 acres of land, and it is home to 706 learners enrolled in law courses. Learning environment of the college is that it is a co-educational institution, which means that the college embraces diverseness. The faculty comprises 15 devoted teachers, and a good student/teacher ratio is provided for better individual treatment and teaching. GLC Thiruvananthapuram has all the integrated forms of law that fit within the complexities of the legal profession and are arrayed for the different concentrations within the legal sphere. The institution provides four distinct courses: This comprises a three-year LLB programme, a five-year Integrated BA LLB programme and two-year LLM programmes in International and Constitutional Laws. All these programmes are delivered on a full-time basis so that students get very intensive and specific education in the field of law. The college offers a total number of 706 seats for all its courses, with 60 seats for the LLB as well as the BA LLB programmes. Having a variety of courses makes it possible for every learner to make the right choice depending on the facet of the law that he or she would wish to practise in the future.

The infrastructure of the college is good.. Buildings are still coming up.. The only drawback that I noticed is thath there is a lack of a proper auditorium.. Otherwise it is good.. Also seminar Hall was too good..
The infrastructure of the college is good.. Buildings are still coming up.. It is a 150 years old college so some of the buildings are heritage building and that was too old and have some kind of aesthetics..
The college infrastructure is not good. College lack an auditorium. Buildings and classrooms also need to be improved. College should provide free wifi to students. Library is well organised, a number of law books are available but there is lack of literature books in library
