About GMC Bettiah
Government Medical College, Bettiah was established in the year 2008. Bettiah Medical College functions under the Health Department of the Government of Bihar and is a premier institution of the Government of Bihar. The institute is affiliated with Aryabhath Knowledge University, Patna and approved by the Medical Council of India. GMC Bettiah offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.
GMC Bettiah courses consist of a Medical Laboratory Technology Diploma (DMLT) course, an MBBS programme, and MS/MD courses. The only 15% of total seats of medical College are counseling through all India counseling means through MCC.
The rest 85% of medical College seats are counseling through State government authorities of respective State government.
These 85% seats will be further segregated between 2 types of quotas
