Government Polytechnic, Kohima Diploma Courses & Fees 2026

Government Polytechnic Kohima is governed by the State Council for Technical Education(SCTE), under the Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland, and offers courses at the Diploma level. Government Polytechnic Kohima courses are offered for a duration of 3 years for each programme with the full-time study mode only.

All the admission courses are offered in engineering and architecture, animation, and design streams. The candidate who completed HSLC/HSSLC (10th/12th) will be eligible for admission in the Government Polytechnic Kohima courses. The Directorate of Technical Education will oversee the admissions in the Government Polytechnic Kohima and conduct the Diploma Entrance Exam (DEE) on behalf of interested candidates. The Government Polytechnic Kohima fee structure for each specialisation is Rs 12,500.

Note: 15% reservation shall be made for Backward Tribes on the basis of One Tribe one seat as per merit in the Diploma Entrance Exam. 10% reservation shall be made for the women Candidates. 3% special reservation shall be made for differently abled candidates with valid documents.
