The diploma students are eligible to apply for the B. Tech. programme in the same specializations that they have chosen in their diploma programme under lateral entry choice.
Students who have pursued a 3-year diploma after class 12 board exams are also eligible for admission to the BTech course through lateral entry.
I am filling anti ragging form for Government polytechnic lucknow. In form there is a option for (Name of Affiliated university). So this college is affiliated to BTE UP, but there is no option for BTE UP. What must i do for it otherwise my form will not be submitted.
Anti ragging form for your polytechnic college compulsorily have your deemed university name. If you are not able to find... Search by full name of BTE, UP i.e. an affiliated polytechnic college under "Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow".

Government Polytechnic Lucknow is a government college and was established in 1963 while Hewett Polytechnic Lucknow was established in 1904 and is a private college.
See, both the colleges have a very good reputation and a very old and both are equally good in terms of faculty support and education facility.
Just the difference is one is private and one is government. Both of then are equally good and can choose one based on your interest.
