The Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu (SPMR Jammu) is a reputed and historic college. The college has a rigorous admission process for all commerce-business-related programmes. Government SPMR College of Commerce admission process, a merit-based admission scheme is followed for undergraduate admission, while an entrance test-based method would be used for postgraduate students. 

Government SPMR College of Commerce admission process for the Undergraduate BBA and other courses, such as BCA, B.Com and B.Com (Hons) merit-based admission, students who can get admission into these degrees need to have done well in the school examination equivalent to a university equivalent to 10+2 or equivalent in merit to qualify based on the academic performance in a qualifying examination.

The marks obtained in the 10+2, or equivalent, examination only would be considered merit to settle the admission process for this programme. For Undergraduate Programmes (BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Com Hons):

• Official College Website or Obtain Application Form at the College Admission Office.
• Complete the application form with actual personal and educational details.
• Submission of a duly filled application form along with required documents to the college admission office before the last date.
• The college will prepare a merit list based on the academic performance of the applicants.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and admission formalities.

For M.Com Programme:

• Register on the Jammu University website for the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET).
• Take JUET on the scheduled date.
• If qualified through JUET, the student could apply to SPMR Jammu as JUET results are announced.

Government SPMR College of Commerce offers a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) programme. Admission to this BBA programme is conducted on a merit basis. Presently, the college has sanctioned 160 seats for the course. Students admitted to this programme should have completed 10+2 in subjects focused on commerce or allied subjects.

Government SPMR College of Commerce BCA Admission Process

Government SPMR College of Commerce offers a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) programme. Similar to BBA, admissions are based on merit. Candidates completing 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply.
