Hallmark Business school was established in the year of 2008 as a business school in Tiruchirappalli. The campus is spread over 3 acres of land. It is a private self-financing co-educational institution. HBS Tiruchirappalli is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Hallmark Business School is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The HBS Tiruchirappalli is greatly promoted by the Sivagami Ramaswamy Educational and Charitable Trust for its vision and mission in academics. Total 13 faculty members are available at the school and the total student enrollments is 89.
HBS has been promoting education in the business field for fourteen years through its postgraduate programme. The postgraduate programme available at HBS is a full-time M.B.A degree that offers dual specialisations to the students. The students can opt for dual specialisation in the fields of marketing, finance, systems, operations, and human resources. The HBS also maintain great networking with its alumni and maintain several collaborations with other institutes and educational agencies. Moreover, the HBS also conducts placement and recruitment drives for each M.B.A batch through their placement cell known as the Centre for Career Development (CCD).

The campus of HBS is located at Pirattiyur Road, Santhapuram, Allithurai, Tiruchirappalli, in Tamil Nadu. The campus is located 7 km from the Tiruchirappalli Railway Junction, and 12 km from the airport of Tiruchirappalli. The students can also reach the campus from the bus depot which is 11 km from the bus station. The students can avail taxis, private cabs, or buses to reach the campus of HBS.

CONARO - Marketing Club: The HBS Tiruchirappalli campus has an operational marketing club known as CONARO. The students of the marketing club come together to experience real-time marketing exposure. The marketing planning for real products is designed by the students that motivate them for real industry experience. The marketing club is also known for organising several marketing games for the college management fest.
Rendezvous HR Club: The HBS Tiruchirappalli also has an HR club that organises and plans numerous HR events to spread awareness and implement HR learning in real life.
Finance Casino- Finance Club: The finance club operational at Hallmark Business School creates opportunities for expanding finance-related learning beyond the scope of classroom education. The students participate enthusiastically to promote concepts of sales, trading, investment banking, corporate finance, etc.
Industry Institute Partnership Cell: This committee at HBS organises industrial and global meets that help students be aware of industrial advancements.
Training and Placement Cell: This committee helps the students to be prepared for placement and recruitment drive. It helps students to learn new skills for selection rounds, and assists in the smooth recruitment process at HBS Tiruchirappalli.
HBS-Centre for Entrepreneurship Development: It is a committee operational at Hallmark Business School that aims to nurture innovation through promoting entrepreneurship on its premises.
Sangamam – HBS Alumni Association: It is an alumni networking club, that promotes association with alumni to gain knowledge of the current industry and market from them.
The HBS Tiruchirappali caters to the different needs of the students by providing them with a wide range of facilities and infrastructure on the campus. The students studying at HBS can enjoy both residential and day to day facilities as per their comfort and convenience. The HBS Tiruchirappali takes care of students’ educational requirements by providing them with a well-furnished library with access to several books, journals, and e-resources for studying. The hostel facility operational for both boys and girls offers them a residential facility on the campus. HBS offers a postgraduate course to students wishing to pursue higher education in management and business administration. The course offered at HBS is in the form of a full-time M.B.A programme which is of two years. The M.B.A programme delivers a curriculum that grants students the freedom to choose their electives. Students are required to select three electives from functional specialisations, and six electives from sectoral specialisations. These electives are studied along with the core subjects of the programme. The eligibility for the M.B.A programme is stated in the table below.

The admission process at HBS is conducted for the M.B.A programme that requires students to appear for qualifying entrance exams of TANCET or CET. The process of admissions at HBS are conducted in two forms, first through government quota, and second through management quota. For students applying through the government quota, one has to appear for TANCET and its further counselling process for admission at HBS. while the students applying for the management quota have to appear for CET and attain a valid score in it. After that, the students from the management quota are called in for group discussion and personal interview round that helps them to get shortlisted for the final admission. The shortlisted candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fees.
Candidates must attain a valid score in the TANCET entrance exam.
A TNEA cut-off is released on the basis of 10+2 marks by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
Candidates meeting the cut-off are called for the further counselling process.
The shortlisted candidates are allotted seats and get their documents verified. Lastly, they submit the course fee for admission.
The HBS Tiruchirappalli offers three categories of scholarships and awards. The first is internship awards that are provided to the top three performers in the internship presentations. The next are different student awards that are awarded to the students who performed well in the M.B.A exams in their batch. Lastly, student scholarship is granted to the topper of the current MBA batch according to the performance in AU exams. The scholarships and awards are presented solely on the basis of merit.
Hallmark Business School placements are taken care of by the Centre for Career Development (CDS). the CDS organises placement and recruitment drives for each MBA batch in its final year. The CDS is responsible for maintaining networks with industrial corporations and plans their visits for recruitment on the campus.
