Harhi College, Lakhimpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The College has a Wi-Fi facility is available to faculty and students at the College library and departmental common room which is an initiative that facilitates independent learning among students. Sometimes students have been provided laptops to assist them in their academic pursuits. Laptops to be used in teaching are made available to teachers when required.

The library has a collection of 6000 reading materials which includes texts, references, rare books, a special collection of books on Human Rights, Medicinal Plants, Gandhian Thoughts, etc. Local Area Network (LAN) using SOUL software has been installed for automating in-house activities and services of the library for the fast transaction of the library resources. The Library has newly taken the membership of the INFLIBNET, Ahmedabad. The library has been provided with internet connectivity for accessing e-resources.

The college has departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College has 32 computers with operating systems as Windows 7, XP, 320/500 GB Hard disk, 1GB/2GB RAM, etc. All PCs are connected to the LAN. For the uninterrupted functioning of computers during load shedding, a 15 KVA Generator has been installed. In addition to this, there is an inverter provided at the computer center with six hours of backup. The college library has two computers with Internet Connectivity of which one is meant for library work another for student's use. There are a good number of computers with printers in the computer center and college office to provide facility for DTP and printout. We have also set up a high-quality digital Xerox machine beside the library hall. Though we have the Wi-Fi facility only at our library and departmental common rooms, the college is planning to introduce campus WI-FI inthe  near future.
