Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 2006. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by the National Medical Council (NMC). The institute offers courses in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The HIMS Hassan UG course includes MBBS with a total seat intake of 150.
