Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan was established in the year 2006. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by National Medical Council (NMC). The institute offers courses in undergraduate and postgraduate. The HIMS Hassan UG course includes MBBS with a total seat intake of 150. The HIMS Hassan PG courses include MD Anatomy, MD Physiology, MD Pathology, MD Microbiology, MD Pharmacology, MD Forensic Medicine, MD Community Medicine, MS Ophthalmology, MS Otorhinolaryngology, MD Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, MD General Medicine, MS, General Surgery, MS Orthopaedics, and MD Paediatrics.
