Ilahia School of Science and Technology, Ernakulam under self financing sector was started in the year 2011 at Pezhakkappilly, Muvattupuzha, Kerala and it is an affiliated college. This co-educational college sits on a vast land size of 11.11 acres and is involved offering a wide variety of engineering courses. Modest as its overall enrollment might be with 288 students and 61 members of faculty, ISSAT is well equipped to offer technical education. It has 10 programme which are spread across level of degrees under graduation and post graduation and offers engineering course in civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics, electronics and telecommunication and computer branch.

Ilahia School of Science and Technology has all the relevant modern facilities to support its academic activities. The college has a library measuring 5000 sq. ft with a collection of books amounting to 7000 out of which 23 are journals and 5 are periodicals In addition the college has electronic library facility that gives access to e-journals and INDEST consortium. To support its practical leaning, the has effective laboratory for each department of the institute. Facilities include basic Amenities Boys and girls Hostel with well-furnished rooms that meet the needs of each student. A cafeteria and two cafes can be provided for meeting the students’ and personnel’s appetite. There also provided all the facilities for sports and gym to pay proper attention to the health of their students.

The institute has a total of 10 programmes in all of which 6 are B.Tech programmes and the rest are diploma programmes. The B.Tech programs are therefore full- time courses that offer Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Also, ISSAT offers three year full time diploma courses in the same branches of engineering and diploma course in computer science and engineering. 

Ilahia School of Science and Technology trains most of its students through the admission process on merit. B.Tech entrance examination accepted at the institute includes the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). This is the state level common entrance test for admission to engineering college part of the admission process. Although information about the particular dates is provided, enrollees are encouraged to follow the exam timeline of KEAM and the following admission process.
