IMI Kolkata offers scholarships to meritorious students. All students whose total family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum will be eligible for IMI Kolkata scholarship under the Economically Weaker Section. The applications for tuition fee waiver under the Economically Weaker Section will be invited from the students after they have been admitted into the programme.
Candidates who are desirous of claiming the tuition waiver should apply to the admissions office before the due date and submit documents such as copy of the income tax returns, PAN number, certificate issued by competent authority appointed by the appropriate government. All applications for tuition fee waiver (under the economically weaker section) will be collected and processed at one time for all such applicants. The Scholarships for Economically Weaker Section at IMI Kolkata will be offered up to 5% seats of the total intake of the institute.
