Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and forty percent mark in the case of BC /BC(M) / MBC / DC / SC / SCA/ ST category. In respect of Persons with Benchmark disabilities candidates the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology shall be 45% in the case of general category and 40% in the case of BC /BC(M) / MBC / DC / SC / SCA/ ST.
