The Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS) in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, is a private law school that was established in 2009.  The Indian Institute of Legal Studies is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). The  Indian Institute of Legal Studies offers a wide range of courses, including a five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. programme and a three-year LL.B. programme. The admissions committee of the IILS will select the candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for various courses based solely on merit following an interview. Applicants must bring their original mark sheets, relevant pass certificates, and photocopies of both, which must be attested, to the interview.
