About Indian Maritime University, Kochi Campus
IMU Kochi is one of the six regional campuses of the Indian Maritime University, which is a central university located in Kochi, which was created in 2010 as per the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. IMU Kochi Registration Process 2026
To apply for IMU CET, candidates must only register online through the official IMU website.
The first thing candidates must do is fill in personal and academic data along with course preferences in the online application form. Candidates also have to upload the files, like a passport-size photograph, signature, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, degree certificate (if applicable), category certificate (if applicable), and physical fitness certificate (if applicable).
Candidates are only allowed to make the IMU CET application fee payment of Rs. 1000 for the General/OBC category and Rs. 700 for the SC/ST category through online mode by net banking/credit card/debit card.
Candidates are given permission to get access to their IMU CET admit card from the website and get a printout of it.
Candidates are supposed to come for the IMU CET at the exam centres assigned to them at the appointed date and time.
Candidates have to check the results of IMU CET on the website and download the rank certificate.
After that, qualified candidates should sign up online for IMU CET counselling and give their preference for courses and college.
Candidates are allowed to make a payment for their counselling fee of Rs. 10,000 via online mode.
Afterwards, applicants will receive chair positions based on their ranking, preference, and vacancies.
Then candidates are required to print the temporary allotment letter and pay the first semester fee through online mode to register their acceptance.

IMU Kochi UG Admission Process 2025-2026
Candidates must file an online application for the IMU CET through the official IMU website.
Firstly, candidates are required to take the IMU CET and obtain a valid rank.

IMU Kochi PG Admission Process 2025-2026
Candidates who want to get admitted to the IMU Centralised Entrance Test Programme can either take the online application form on the official website of IMU or send their scores for the CAT/MAT/CMAT only if they meet the eligibility criteria.
They must appear for the IMU CET MBA or one of the CAT/MAT/CMAT exams and obtain a valid score.

Indian Maritime University kochi campus is having good facilties and equipments. Well maintained environment, nice hostel rooms. Library facility is good we have many foreign writers book, many great novals.
My overall experience in this college was good

The infrastructure is fine with few classrooms not fully equipped for good studying environment. The Library and computer lab is fully equipped with good WiFi facility. The mess food is good and hygienic and campus is also neat and clean. Hostel Facility is great with all facilities and amenities.
