M.Sc Child Health Nursing at Indira College of Nursing, Thiruvallur Offline Course

1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Registration Council of Nursing.
2. The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with
    minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
3. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is
    recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
4. Minimum one year of work experience in a teaching hospital or community after registration with the State Nursing Council.
5. Minimum one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
6. The candidate shall be medically fit.
7. A 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
8. In the case of male candidates they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery.
Those who have studied Midwifery are eligible for admission to branches III & IV.
