hello mahender, DASA is the entance exam conducted by the IITH. the candiates who have passed their 10+2 can apply for the exam. yes the students from all the sates can apply for the test. it is compulsary to do dual degree for DASA mode exam.

DASA stands for Direct Admission for Students Abroad.
Direct admission of students abroad (DASA) is a Scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India For Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Admissions to Premier Institutions of India (NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs, Central Universities and Other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes) for Undergraduate programmes in Engineering/Architecture/ Planning and Postgraduate programmes (M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des./MURP & MBA) .
Every year, one NIT coordinate for admission process through DASA. The admissions to various UG and PG programmes of premier Institutes of India under the DASA scheme was coordinated by Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur INDIA for the year 2017-18.
