About IIST Indore
Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST), Indore was established in 2003. It is a private college affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. IIST Indore courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The courses are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. IIST Indore courses are offered in various streams of the B.Tech programme at the undergraduate level, including Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and many other domains, and postgraduate courses in various disciplines of M.E. programmes including Computer Science Engineering. Candidates aspiring for IIST Indore admissions must meet the eligibility criteria for courses. Admissions to B.Tech programmes are offered on the basis of the score in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and counselling. Indore Institute of Science and Technology, Indore admissions to postgraduate M.E. programmes are offered based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. The college also has an established Career Development Cell (CDC) which helps students with internships and employment opportunities. IIST Indore average package offered in 2020-21 after the 4-year UG programme was Rs. 3.50 lakh. The college also offers many facilities for students to provide them with a hassle-free campus life. IIST Indore facilities include a library, sports, a cafeteria, an auditorium, IT infrastructure, medical facilities and many more.

College is good it has library many football grounds and canteen and hostel facilities there for the students who come from different places to pursue their education and the space is very clean as compared to other colleges and universities.

College campus is really clean and green the space is very big and it has all the facilities it is situated near Rao having one canteen and the food of canteen is hygenic and every building is well maintained.

will i get btech with cse Branch on 10+2 basis?
Indore institute science and technology does not offer admission to bachelor technology computer science engineering on the basis of 10 + 2 class level board examination scores. Instead of this the college provides admission to the bachelor of technology on the basis of marks achieved in joint entrance examination. You must have completed 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and must have scored at least 45% marks and aggregate of 10 + 2 class level board examination for being eligible for admission to the course.

Technically yes and no at the same time.
Yes, because you can change your college in 2nd year.
No, because if you change your college, then you won't be enrolling in a normal BTech program in IIST Indore. You would be enrolling under BTech Lateral since you are in 2nd year and you can get entry through JELET.

Straightforwardly, you can't just hop on in a class of 2nd year BTech CSE at any college if you wish. You can get admission but it would be at a cost, i.e. BTech Lateral.
