Poor return on investment

The only things that are good about this institution are the infrastructure and the faculty. The courses offered are taught theoretically for the most part. The practical knowledge attained here doesn't count for much when one gets a job, if at all one gets a job. Placements are horrible. The fee is exorbitant !! Courses like Hotel management and Culinary Arts are not ones that provide lucrative jobs with good pay. Hence a course fee of Rs. 16 lakhs is a bad investment. The return on investment is extremely poor.

They offer four year courses for both hotel management and culinary arts. Unlike other institutes in India, the total work experience gained here is of one and a half years. Placements are amazing, where every student gets placed with top companies in the industry and even a chance to work abroad. Students are taught by professionals from the Taj company. In order to facilitate the training, the institute is placed right next to the hotel, Vivanta by Taj. Guest lectures, food fests, food and beverage tasting sessions are all the additional benefits enjoyed by students. Grooming of students is a very important aspect of their training. Exams are conducted on an yearly basis apart from which the students have to submit various reports throughout the year. Canteen and mess facilities are excellent and hygienic, where a variety of food is prepared by chefs and cooks. The library has over 15,000 books and holds a record at the continental level. For avid readers, it is the best place to relax and rejoice themselves. To make the stay of students more enjoyable the college has various clubs such as the photography, dance , music and sports clubs. Hostel facilities are also good.
