Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got ihm Bangalore inspite of clearing the cut off for ihm Mumbai.
There has been an error while alloting the seats so they have decided to re consider the results.
So you need not worry about anything and just wait for the results as you have cleared the cut off for Mumbai and so you will definitely get it.
Hey there
Once you get a seat in the first round you have to pay the required amount to book your seat before the due date or else your seat will be rejected and you will be out of the counselling process. It better you accept the seat and go for the next round, there if you get a good college then the same amount will be transferred there.. Some colleges provide complete refund and some keep around 5-7%. If you don't get a seat then you dont have to pay any fees.
Greetings,
As a general rule, if you book/freeze/lock your seat in the first round it would be considered as your chosen option and subsequently if you fail to submit your documents to the university that you had locked you could be penalized before being admitted into round 2
so do not lock your seat if you wish to smoothly transition into round 2 and hope that you get your desired college in the second round.
visit this link for more info on how the counselling process works, best of luck for your admissions.

Hi Candidate,
The JoSAA counseling process is a long and thorough process involving numerous rounds of counselling and seat distribution and allotment.
Generally, the process takes place in 6-7 rounds following a mock seat allotment round at the earliest stage. Every candidate gets an option to either Slide/Freeze/Float his alloted seat, which entirety depends on the student which option he has to choose.
These choices are provided in each Round, so if you have missed out a chance to lock your seat, you can surely get it done in the next Round.
Hope that you have got your answer, and Wish You The Best for Further Rounds!!

Hi Ayush.
For admission in IHM Bangalore the cut off for OBC category was 5737 in 2017 10351 in 2016 and 6851 in 2015.
Considering previous year trends and your rank, you might have a fair chance for admission here.
Best of luck.
Being both are excellent.i will personally advised to IHM Bangalore.banglore is better than chennai in terms of infrastructure, faculty, location and placements.
Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before
IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.
Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
