IHM mumbai is my 1st preference howeer In round 1, I got IHM Bangalore. I paid 40K fees but applied for 2nd round. Despite my ranking now within closed ranking (CR) for round 2 IHM Mumbai, I was still alloted IHM Bangalore. Seems some error in system as NCHM is re-declaring results today.

According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got ihm Bangalore inspite of clearing the cut off for ihm Mumbai.

There has been an error while alloting the seats so they have decided to re consider the results.

Hey there

Once you get a seat in the first round you have to pay the required amount to book your seat before the due date or else your seat will be rejected and you will be out of the counselling process. It better you accept the seat and go

i have participated in Hotel management councelling .i have been alloted IHM lucknow in 1st round but i want to seat in 2nd roud councelling. i am confused a lot what to do for 2nd round(i.e. shall i book my seat of 1st round and then participate round 2)pls explain steps to participate in round 2

As a general rule, if you book/freeze/lock your seat in the first round it would be considered as your chosen option and subsequently if you fail to submit your documents to the university that you had locked you could be penalized before being admitted into round 2

I got ihm pusa in round 1 (first and only choice) I paid the fees and documents were verified(never got the option to freeze or float) today by mistake I gave consent for participanting I round 2 but I am satisfied by the seat alloted in round 1 so now do I again lock choices in round 2

The JoSAA counseling process is a long and thorough process involving numerous rounds of counselling and seat distribution and allotment.

Generally, the process takes place in 6-7 rounds following a mock seat allotment round at the earliest stage. Every candidate gets an option to either Slide/Freeze/Float his alloted

sir I uploaded my 12 class marksheet which was downloaded from digilocker app for registration for ihm college but their is discrepancy they are asking to upload in place of certificate plz sir tell me what to do this is conducted by nchmctjee

Dear student

As per your rank you don't have chances for ihm Pisa or mumbai. However you may get, Bhopal, Gwalior, Kolkata, Chandigarh.
During counselling lock the ihm according to your preference. And lock it carefully your first ten preferences should be according to your convenience.

My rank is 6327 (OBC) can I get ihm banglore

Hi Ayush.

For admission in IHM Bangalore the cut off for OBC category was 5737 in 2017 10351 in 2016 and 6851 in 2015.

Considering previous year trends and your rank, you might have a fair chance for admission here.

Which is better ihm banglore and ihm chennai?

Being both are excellent.i will personally advised to IHM Bangalore.banglore is better than chennai in terms of infrastructure,faculty,location and placements.

Can i get best placement from ihm hajipur

Hi Ankit,

Yes the placement of IHM Hajipur is quite good. There are around twenty rounds of campusing and you can expect the big manes like Emirates, Park Hyatt and The Leela on campus too.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before

College Infrastructure

IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.

IHM pusa is best for practical knowledge and placements

Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
