ILNU Ahmedabad Admission Eligibility Criteria

ILNU Ahmedabad PhD Admission Process

• Candidates must meet the ILNU Ahmedabad PhD eligibility criteria.

• Submit the ILNU Ahmedabad application form online and pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1250 through credit card/debit card/net banking.

• Candidates have to appear for an entrance test conducted by Nirma University. 

• An Entrance Test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks of 50%. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject-specific.

• However, candidates who qualify the UGC-NET (Including JRF) and UGC-CSIR NET with a valid score in terms of cut-off marks and duration, shall be exempted from appearing in the entrance test and deemed to be qualified for personal interview.

• The candidates who are exempted from the Written/Entrance Test, will be awarded the highest marks scored by the candidates who appeared in the Written/Entrance Test conducted by Nirma University for that particular discipline.

• For all the candidates who qualified in the written test and candidates exempted from the written test, a viva voce will be organised by the University, where the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before the Department Research Committee.

• The final selection will be based on a weightage of 70% for the entrance test and a weightage of 30% for the viva voce.

• The last step of ILNU Ahmedabad PhD admission includes verification of documents and course fee payment.
