Hello candidate,
Under general conditions there is no restriction on the use of smartphone inside the campus or within the hostel premises, but in certain areas such as examination hall, library rooms, chemical laboratories, and classrooms the use of smartphones is strictly prohibited. So, it's better if you follow the necessary guidelines and do not disturb any rules.
If you have any further questions feel free to post it here!!
Dear,
The student does not have the right to use a mobile phone in a college or school. Most engineering colleges ban usage of mobile phones inside their academic premises. It is a rule to be followed by all students in the campus. You can carry mobile phones for your safety but make sure you don't use it when you are in the campus. For any emergencies you can always use the college office phones with required permission.
Hope this helps!
