Institute of Pharmacy and Technology, Salipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Institute of Pharmacy and Technology was established at Salipur, Cuttack district, Odisha in 1982. IPT Salipur offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in Pharmacy. The IPT Salipur was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India. Also, the institute is National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited and the B.Pharm programme is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute offers three streams in M.Pharm including Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutics. Initially, the institute introduced a Diploma course in Pharmacy (D.Pharm). Later, IPT Salipur introduced the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

IPT Salipur provides facilities to its students such as Library & Reading Rooms, Laboratory, Computer Lab, Girls Hostel, Play Ground, Garden, Health Centre, Scholarships and much more. The Institute have a Training and Placement Cell whose goal is to train and develop the students to improve their skills for getting jobs in reputed organizations. IPT Salipur has an Entrepreneurship Development Cell for providing support to Entrepreneurs and escort services to the students. To avoid ragging on the campus, the institute has an Anti-Ragging Cell.

The institute is located in Salipur township and near Salipur Autonomous College. IPT Salipur is located 25 Km from Cuttack and 50 Km from Bhubaneswar. Buses and Auto Rickshaws are available from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar to Salipur. The nearest Railway station is Cuttack Railway Station which is 24.6 km away from the institution. The nearest is Bhubaneswar Airport which is situated 53.5 km away.
