D.El.Ed at Institute of Professional Studies, Gangoh Offline Course

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma programme offered by State Council of Educational Research and Training, Lucknow and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

D.El.Ed is a Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a 2 year full time diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and can be done with classroom training or distance learning. It is a 4 semester course to prepare students to work in primary/ upper primary schools in different states of the country. The design of the course is such that it includes practical training and internships along with classroom training. It includes principles of child development, education practice, and the role of the teacher in grooming the students. The candidate should possess good communication skills, patience, creative thinking and an aptitude to teaching. On completing the D.El.Ed , candidates can apply in Private schools, Government schools, nursery, Daycare centers, online educator, Coaching centers and Private tuition classes. They can take up jobs as a junior teacher, content writer and/or reviewer librarian, record keeper, education counsellor. Candidates who have completed the D.El.Ed can further pursue the Bachelor of Education ( B.Ed) course and undertake a full time teaching job.
