Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Lucknow, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.
• Minimum marks: 50% for General (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per NCTE norms).
• Admission through entrance exam or merit list depending on state/university.

Admission Details

1. Official Notification – The admission process begins with the release of an official notification on the website of the Exam Regulatory Authority, Prayagraj.
2. Online Application – Candidates must fill out the online application form by providing personal, academic, and contact details. The required application fee must be paid online.
3. Merit List Preparation – No entrance examination is conducted. The selection is based on merit, which is prepared according to marks obtained in High School, Intermediate, and Graduation.
4. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment – Candidates must fill in their preferred colleges (DIETs and private institutions). Seats are allotted based on merit, category, and availability.
5. Document Verification and Admission – After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted institute with original documents for verification. Admission is confirmed after successful verification and payment of fees.
