About International College of Nursing, Tarn Taran

The International College of Nursing, Tarn Taran: established in 2002 as a premier institution for nursing on the periphery of the state of Punjab in India. Located at village Piddi Ferozepur G.T. Road in Ferozepur the affiliated college aims at offering standard education in the nursing care. Recognised by Indian Nursing Council, INC the college provides various courses in nursing for women only. It served a total student enrolment of 297, while its faculty comprises of 9. The college provides three full-time courses: courses include the Bachelors of Science in Nursing, General Nursing and Midwifery and Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifery which provide a whole range of courses in nursing.

International College of Nursing provides students with a list of classrooms and learning facilities that would fit the purpose of working and studying. The college has well established accommodation facility for girls which is a hostel having the capacity of three students per room but every student is offered bed, table, chair, cupboard and cloth rack. There is a health cent with first aid within the camp to ensure every student is healthy. It also facilities a library, sports facilities and information technology to facilitate teaching, learning and co-curricular activities.

It provides a total of three full-time course and all of them are designed to cater the escalating demand of proficient nursing staffs. The Course that the institution offers is B.Sc Nursing which takes four years and intakes 40 students. The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course, which took four years, admits 40 students. Community health officer (CHO) course is of two years duration and the intake capacity is of 30 students for Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM).

International College of Nursing GNM Admission Process

The GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course offered by the college has an intake capacity of 40 students. International College of Nursing admission process for this programme also includes an interview by a specially constituted board. Eligible candidates are called for the interview and the final selection is at the discretion of the management.

International College of Nursing ANM Admission Process

The ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) programme at International College of Nursing is a two-year programme with an intake capacity of 30 students. Like the other programmes, eligible candidates for ANM are called for an interview before a board constituted for this purpose. The management reserves the right to select or reject any student based on their performance and suitability.
