Jamia Urdu College of Education, Aligarh, was started in the year 2015 and is a co-educational college for teacher Education. This college is an affiliated college, situated in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and offers education in 1.656 acres. The institute offers two full-time degree programmes. The proposed courses of teacher education include the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), with an admission capacity of one hundred each at the corresponding college. Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jamia Urdu College of Education maintains a student-faculty ratio of approximately 3:1, affiliated to 47 enrolled students and 17 faculty staff. 

A variety is of facilities are available in the college to facilitate its missions of education. Every good university must have a library with books and other material to support the learning needs of students and teachers among other uses. Jamia Urdu College of Education has also provided best it facilities required to support modern technologies in educational systems. A departmental laboratory is learning facilities that are offered separately per department while a canteen offers food services for the college populace. Jamia Urdu College of Education, an affiliated College of Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra, specialises in teaching with only two courses of study. The B.Ed and D.El.Ed both are two years full time courses which prepares students for teaching profession. Both programmes are already approved to accept a hundred students per year, but the total seating capacity for the two programmes is two hundred. The college has the Intake capacity of two hundred total students, out of which only 47 students are enroled this means that there is great potentials to expand. 

Jamia Urdu College of Education follows the admission polices set of the state government of Uttar Pradesh and the university to which the college is affiliated to, and operates on merit basis. Admission is made for the B.Ed and D.El.Ed course based on the merit prepared out of the aggregate of the marks of the qualifying examination. Besides, the college may use entering examination results or an alternative method, in compliance with the legislations of the state government or UT administration.
