Jammu College of Physiotherapy was set up in the year 2001 and is affiliated to the University of Jammu spread over Bantalab, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. The institute is dedicated to physiotherapy education and currently, it has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) progreamme. OCC situated in a limited area of 1 acre and taking a total of 270 students in a single academic session, has a team of 24 faculty members. The institute’s dedication for offering quality education in physiotherapy is evident through the specific curriculum offered together with practicality of training facilities provided.

The college has invested in well equipped amenities that can complement students learning process in the college. A well-ventilated library accommodates a collection of books in excess of four thousand and affords the school student’s subscription to national and international journals, thereby availing an encyclopedia of information to the learners in their disciplines. The biomechanics concept is taught in the institute, and there are specific laboratory facilities for each department to provide an understanding of mechanical laws governing the structure and function of organisms. There are separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls respectively, though the number of accommodation spaces is limited and therefore the hosts avail them depending on the first come first served basis. 

Jammu College of Physiotherapy takes its core business of providing education in physiotherapy therapy by offering only one course of study; the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. This professional course takes four years to complete and prepares students to be physiotherapists.
