Established in the year 1997, Jawaharlal Nehru School of Management Studies, Assam University, Silchar offers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, PG Diploma and Doctoral level. At the UG level, JNSMS- AU Silchar offers a BBA programme. Admission in the BBA programme at JNSMS- AU Silchar is made on the basis of Written Skill Assessment Test (WSAT). To take admission in the MBA programme at Jawaharlal Nehru School of Management Studies, Assam University, the candidates should have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ CUCET or WSAT. candidates are additionally required to appear in the GDPI process in order to be finally selected in the MBA programme of the college. 

Admission in the Executive MBA is made on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the Written Skill Ability Test and to take admission in the PGDSM and PGDTBT programmes of JNSMS- AU Silchar, the candidates are required to appear in either an entrance examination or an Interview or both entrance test and interview.
