The college Regular and periodical free health services are also offered as a follow-up. A free master's health checkup is conducted annually at Jaya College of Physiotherapy for all students and staff. Periodical lectures are delivered highlighting specific problems of women regarding their Health and Hygiene. Underprivileged students are offered free medical consultation and medicine throughout the year.

The college library is periodically strengthened with an increase in the number of textbooks, reference books, and journals. The college has Sports Equipment: Indoor Games: Chess, Carrom, Shuttle bats with Cocks. Outdoor Games: Net, Throw ball, Volleyball, Cricket Set, Dumbbells, Poles, Javelin, Discus, Shot-put, Relay. Students are encouraged to participate in all the intercollegiate-level sports in Educational Colleges in and around Chennai and Tiruvallur districts. Regular coaching is given to interested and talented students in sports activities by the Physical Director. Sports Day is celebrated regularly every year, and prizes are distributed to both the winners and the runners as a way of encouragement.

The college has a Computer Laboratory with more than 20 computers with an Internet connection. Ms. Windows XP, Ms. Office 2007, Turbo C, C++, Open Source Software, Red Hat, Debian.

The college has a Seminar Hall with a PA system.

The college has an Alumni association in college in order to remain in contact with our past students. Alumni constitute an important component of the institution of higher learning. A database of all passed-out students is maintained with their present address, their professional placement, and their pursuit of higher studies.

The college has laboratory facilities available for the following departments: Biological Science, Physical Science, and Psychology. All the Laboratories are updated and enhanced with the necessary equipment according to the periodical revision of the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University syllabus in science subjects and according to the requirements of the students. The facilities are enhanced with a new addition of equipment according to the requirements of the students as per the revised syllabus of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University in science subjects. The college has a Jaya Fest, which is celebrated every year for a duration of three days to bring out the inherent talents of the Teacher Trainees. Some of the competitions held are: solo song. Group song, solo dance, group dance, skit in Tamil and English, Cookery, Mehendi, Flower arrangement, Rangoli, and a quiz program. Teacher trainees enthusiastically participate in all the intercollegiate cultural competitions and reap laurels. 

The college has a Smart Classroom facility for all students.

The college regularly arranges State and National level Seminars and Workshops are regularly arranged every year. The Teacher Trainees, Teacher Educators, and Research Scholars submit and read out papers on topics of Educational importance, which generate active participation and lively, academic, and critical interaction.

Guest lectures are arranged for the benefit of the Teacher Trainees on topics related to their academic, curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
