      Academics

The teaching style is practical. Instead of focusing only on theory, there are real projects, presentations, shoots, and class discussions. The syllabus is relevant to jounalism, media, and communication. Professors explain concepts using real-world examples, and most of them have industry experience, which makes learning easier.

      College Infra

JSJC has good facilities for media students. There are studios, editing rooms, media labs, and smart classrooms that students actually use for projects. Cameras and software are provided when needed. There are enough places to sit and work around campus. Overall, the campus is clean and well-maintained.

      Campus Life

Campus life is lively. There are workshops, film screenings, guest talks, clubs, and college events. You also get to interact with students from other schools, which is nice. Hostel life is comfortable, and the campus vibe is active but still focused on studies.

      Placements

Placements are good and are supported by the Office of Career Services. However, they also depend a lot on how active a student is. Most students do internships during the course, which helps them later. After completing the degree, students get jobs in media houses, PR firms, content, and digital roles.

      Value For Money

JSJC is totally a value-for-money institute. The fees seem worth it considering the exposure, facilities, and practical learning. Guest lectures, workshops, and hands-on work start early, which really helps if you are serious about this field.

      Academics

The professors are amazing. I’m studying corporate communication and it has lead me to meet so many influential people. Even Imtiaz Ali has come to our college. The course is amazing and full of leading and keeps options open.

      College Infra

The infrastructure of Jindal is amazing. It has so many facilities and considering it’s a media school, we are provided with world class equipment. We have Wi-Fi, AC, heater; everything you can imagine in a university. The food options are great.

      Campus Life

I love everything about my college. We have a gym, swimming pool, paddle court, squash, football, cricket, etc. you name it and it’s here. There are atleast 25-30 food outlets and we also have parlours tailor on campus.

      Placements

I’ve so far only had the experience for internships and have had the opportunity to work at radio mirchi and still so have so many new opportunities. The process is so easy and people are very helpful.

      Value For Money

The place is for sure worth the money. And I’m hopeful for the return that I’m going to get. The place is also very safe so it’s worth all the money. Have never felt unsafe here. We are paying for the residence too so it’s something which needs to be considered.

It was a new kind of experience for me.

BA Hons Film and New Media - Batch of 2027-01-01
      4.2

      Academics

I came to Jindal for it's Film and New Media course. Most of my professors are professionals from the industry and are great teachers of the craft. We have been taught about what the old technology worked like and practice via the medium of the new technology. The university has provided with the equipment necessary for the course and keeps on adding to the inventory with our professors' suggestions and guidance ensuring we have all needed to prepare for what the field hold in the future.

      College Infra

The infrastructure is unique but also like a puzzle. The academic block, hostles amd the mess building all have elivators and washrooms for the disabled. All classros have projectors and boards. Everywhere indoors is equiped with conditioning units. The libraries are big with a wide collection of books and they along with the reading rooms in the student housings provide ample amount of space for studying. My only gripe would be that the increase in student population makes it hard for everyone.

      Campus Life

The campus has libraries, sports areas and food courts. There's no particular curfew at night so students can be seen playing or simply walking deep into the night. The campus paths are big enough for a nice stroll when the weather is nice. There's also a medical center on campus which can easily be approached. In case needed, there's ambulances on the ready; and if need be, they will take you to the (Tulip) hospital in Sonipat. The only thing that students disapprove of is the gate pass woth is issued online and meed to be approved by parents. Although i understand why it may be needed from the university's point of view i also understand why the young adults would dislike it.

      Placements

I have yet to experience it myself but i have seen a bath graduate as of this review and the university has provided placements as promised. Our own school even notified about some of our seniors' first jobs.

      Value For Money

My course cost is Per 7 lakh + 10% raise every year on last year's fee. i find it good enough since i am, after all, studying ina course with high equipment requirements. This fee includes the mess food facilities and student housing fees. It's not bad, per say. But it feels a bit unfair that even after such a fee the hostel roims are shared. Sure you can participate in a first come first serve bidding flr the rooms after the first year but not everyone will want to live with friends and strangers have no guarantee of been easy to live with. One can call it life experiences but 4 months with someone you are uncomfortable/ incompatible with is not something easy at all.
