JLD Engineering and Management College, Baruipur (JEMC Baruipur) is one of the leading educational institutions established in 2015. Located in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, the affiliated college sprawls over a sprawling 10.56 acres of land. JEMC Baruipur is an All India Council for Technical Education-approved institution and has a varied range of courses in engineering programs. The total student enrolment amounts to 458, while the faculty strength stands at 44, thereby providing a healthy environment for learning.
The college has a versatile number of modern amenities to facilitate its students with a better learning environment. The library is well-stocked in an area of 400 sq. m with a digital section having high-speed internet access and e-journals and e-books. There exist separate playgrounds for football, cricket, and badminton for the enthusiasts, and JEMC Baruipur prompts both indoor and outdoor games. The IT infrastructure of the college is also very strong, with a 25-meter high tower meant only for internet and wireless communication. All computers are networked and connected to the main server, which provides single connectivity. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and students can access internet facilities from anywhere in the campus. Adequately equipped laboratories, helping in hands-on practice in subjects such as electrical machines, power systems, and control systems, have also been provided at JEMC Baruipur.
