About JNTUA CEA Anantapur
In 1946, JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu was started under the post war reconstruction programme and functioned at Guindy campus, Madras for two years and was shifted to Anantapur in 1948. The College offers technical education to the students. This college has a vast campus area of 185 acres. Initially, it was affiliated to the Madras and S V University, before gaining its autonomous status. The University is ISO 9001 certified. In the NIRF 2020 ranking, the college was ranked 185 in the engineering category.

The campus is located at Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwariah Road, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. It has good connectivity through roadways and the railways. The nearest railway stations are Prasan Nayanapalli, Anantapur station around 4 kms. The nearest airport is the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, Puttaparthi is around 70 kms. The students can take a taxi or bus to reach the University.

College Infrastructure
My college infrastructure is very good. College has various degrees Such as BTech, Mtech, Mca, MBA etc., We have separate buildings for each. Even though the campus is old it is well maintained and has a very clean environment and green trees all around makes it very peaceful in college campus. Campus and hostel both has wifi facility.We have a common library which has books not only for btech but also for all other engineering degrees.So students have access to Mtech books also which is helpful

Infrastrues are good. But it is established in 1947, now they are focuss on greenary also ,we have open auditorium and ntr auditorium , every events are organised by students itself to develope skills

In our college the infrastructure is very good when compared to all the other colleges in anantapur and even the campus is also Very big and had separate blocks for every branch and the food hygiene is also Very good,the premises of the cafeteria is also good.

There are no official statistics for placements available on the website. However, through peer reviews, it can be speculated that Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7 th semester Many big companies like TCS, tech Mahindra, ARABINDO pharma, Reddy's laboratory, come to campus drives and afford jobs to eligible student.
Generally, placements are placed by conducting exam first and then shortlisted candidates are called for interview and then selected on basis of merit Nearly 70-80% of students are placed. Generally, the salary package of 8 LPA is provided in the beginning only. Many roles are offered according to the branch of the students. Above 75% of the marks are needed for recruitment.
