JNTUA CEA Anantapur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

In 1946, JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu was started under the post war reconstruction programme and functioned at Guindy campus, Madras for two years and was shifted to Anantapur in 1948. The College offers technical education to the students. This college has a vast campus area of 185 acres. Initially, it was affiliated to the Madras and S V University, before gaining its autonomous status. The University is ISO 9001 certified. In the NIRF 2020 ranking, the college was ranked 185 in the engineering category.

Location:

The campus is located at Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwariah Road, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. It has good connectivity through roadways and the railways. The nearest railway stations are Prasan Nayanapalli, Anantapur station around 4 kms. The nearest airport is the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, Puttaparthi is around 70 kms. The students can take a taxi or bus to reach the University.

• Arts Club: The club deals with the organization of various activities related to arts, for students to showcase their talents.  
• Cultural Club: The club is responsible for the organization of various events and functions such as Dance competitions, college fests, etc.
• Film Making & Photography Club: The club supports and promotes the photography and movie making skills of the students involved with the college. 
• Soft Skills Club: It helps with the constant improvement of the communication skills of the students through various events and activities.
• Sports Club: The club aims to induce and promote the sports culture amongst the students and faculties.
