60 MonthsBachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) is a five-year full-time Integrated program in Law offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata with the approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI).
Eligibility Criteria
- Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
- The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
- The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
Admission Details
Admission commences immediately after the publication of results of the Higher Secondary Examination. Admissions are made on the basis of an aptitude test directly conducted by the University of Calcutta.

Overall,I would say that campus life over here is great.

College infrastructure can be best described as "average" at the moment , definitely not at par with the spacious classrooms and lush green campus of the other universities of Kolkata as well as India ,such as, Amity University,NUJS Kolkata, Bhawanipur Society College,etc.The building of Jogesh Chandra College has an old "Calcutta charm" and often conjures up nostalgic memories of the Victorian era "Calcutta".
Jcclc is like my family. A Place full of fun and discipline
It is hard to exist here, living is still a step ahead.
