Joya Gogoi College, Golaghat Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a newly constructed (two-storeyed), well-secured R.C.C. Girls’ Hostel. It provides seat accommodation for 18 students. The Hostel is well furnished, and it gives pure drinking water and clean sanitation facilities. It has the provision for separate Visiting, Kitchen, Dining and Bedrooms. It also extends electronic audio-visual services, e.g., a television set in the dining room, which is primarily meant for use to exploit the educational value of programs by students. The laws and by-laws of the Hostel ordinance govern the Hostel. Facilities: There is an Executive Committee headed by the Principal of the College. The Principal appoints the Hostel Supervisor and other staff members for its sound maintenance

The college has a library as a mark of respect to the Kargil Martyr Capt. Jintu Gogoi. The library has been growing in terms of its collection and its readers, along with some P.G. students and research scholars of the fringe Facilities. The library has a collection of books, which is 8961 in number. There are 15 Journals/ Periodicals, including two peer-reviewed journals and 3 newspapers. The library provides/issues two books to each student at a time for 15 days. Besides this, there is a Book Bank facility to help the economically backward students through with additional two more books are issued to the needy students. The library also provides a Newspaper clipping service, Reprographic service, counseling services, etc.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen within the college campus which is run in a free furnished structure provided by the college and supervised by a committee constituted for the purpose.

The college has adequate facilities for games, music and drama activities for both boys and girls. Regular practice and competition are held under the supervision of experienced teachers and students showing proficiency are encouraged to take part in the inter-college competitions organized at various levels.

The college has authority that offers Xerox facilities for every student at a very nominal rate.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.
